New England fall foliage peak colors at the Liberty Gorge at the Franconia Notch State Park near Lincoln, New Hampshire. The Sentinel Pine Bridge spans this beautiful New England gorge and a series of small waterfalls and cascades rush into The Pool. The pool is a deep basin in the Pemigewasset River and was formed at the end of the ice age.
