Major Willard Moore State Park is a historical site of multiple grist and sawmills. Nowadays visitors flock to this Central Massachusetts state park in Paxton, MA for the beautiful waterfalls and cascades framed by azaleas and rhododendrons in the late spring/early summer. Fall foliage and its colorful canopies are quite beautiful and picturesque and worthwhile stopping by too. Winter has its own charm and is the most peaceful and serene time of all to visit.
