New York City skyline photography image of the FIDI, short for the financial district, in downtown New York photographed on a beautiful winter evening minutes before sunset. The New York City World Trade Center is a complex of buildings in Lower Manhattan. The skyscraper is replacing an earlier complex of 7 buildings with the same name on the same site. The original World Trade Center featured landmark twin tower, were destroyed in a terrorist attack on 11 September 2001. The new site is now a rebuilt with six new skyscrapers with a 911 memorial to those killed in the terrorist attacks. One World Trade Center is the tallest skyscraper in the United States.
Utilizing a neutral density filter at this time of the day provided the required longer exposure times to create the silky water effects in the waters of the East river and conveying cloud movement within the lit up sky.
