Sailing boat passing by Whaleback Ledge Lighthouse in southern Maine near the New Hampshire border. This historic New England lighthouse is located near Portsmouth, New Hampshire and is also known as Whaleback Light or Whaleback Ledge Lighthouse. Originally, I was inspired by the tall and old lighthouse structure out in the ocean that tells the story of bracing Mother Nature for a century and more. The sailboat passing by was extra icing on the cake.
